Daily squats and sessions at the gym aren’t always enough to transform the shape of your bottom. A butt lift allows Dr. Stephen Davis to craft a perkier and rounder buttocks for his clients. Roughly 22,000 butt lift procedures are performed each year.
Clients seek gluteal augmentation because they want to change the shape or size of their butt. This procedure is usually combined with liposuction as that fat is used to augment the glutes.

During Your Butt Lift Surgery
Dr. Davis performs butt lift surgery at The Atrium, a specialty operating facility at Centennial Hospital. General anesthesia is used during the procedure, and your vital signs are carefully monitored. The specifics of your procedure will be tailored to your needs as the client.
Generally speaking, the buttock lift involves adjustments to the buttocks and thighs that require an incision at the crease of the buttocks. Excess skin is then removed, followed by the underlying fat deposits. Finally, the skin is pulled taught and sutured into the new configuration.
During butt augmentation with implants, silicone implants specially made for the buttocks will be inserted through the incision along the buttock crease and will be placed either in the muscle or above the gluteal muscle on each side.
Buttock fat grafting, also known as a Brazilian butt lift, is achieved by performing liposuction on an area of the body where excess fat is stored. The fat, tissue and blood that were removed through liposuction are then processed and a purified version of the fat is then added to the buttocks through small injections.
Most clients are released to go home the same day as the procedure. Keep in mind that you will need someone to drive you home.
Butt Lift Recovery
After surgery, you will need to take a week off from all activities to rest and recover. Movement should be kept to a minimum to not stress the muscles and tissues. Sitting should be avoided except when it is essential. There will be special garments to wear to aid in recovery.
After the first week, it is okay to resume moderate physical activity. Most clients are able to return to their usual routine around 6 weeks after surgery, though, every individual is different. Listen to your body and Dr. Davis to ensure you do not push yourself too far.
Butt Lift Results
There may be a noticeable difference right after surgery, but this should not be mistaken for the final result. Swelling and bruising will make it difficult to assess the difference for about 6 weeks. Final results can take about 6 months or more depending how quickly you heal.
