A Mommy Makeover is a customized combination of cosmetic procedures designed to restore and enhance your body after pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. This treatment typically addresses areas most affected by motherhood, including the abdomen, breasts, waist, and hips.
Common procedures included in a Mommy Makeover are tummy tuck surgery, breast augmentation, breast lift, liposuction, or a combination of these treatments. The goal is to improve body contours, remove excess skin, tighten weakened abdominal muscles, and help you achieve a more youthful, balanced appearance.
Every Mommy Makeover is tailored to your unique goals and needs. During your consultation, we will discuss your concerns and create a personalized treatment plan designed to help you look and feel your best.

Dr. Davis performs mommy makeover surgery at The Atrium, a specialty operating facility at Centennial Hospital. General anesthesia is used during the procedure. The length of the surgery will depend on how many areas are being targeted. Most clients will go home the same day as the procedure. You will need someone to help you get home.
After surgery, you will need to take a week off from all activity to rest and recover. Movement must be limited, though not eliminated, as some movement is good for circulation and healing. Bandages and support garments will be used to reduce swelling and promote healing. There may be drains placed to help remove excess fluids.
Most clients can return to work within about 1 to 2 weeks, but physical activity will be limited for 6 to 8 weeks post-surgery. Keep in mind that everyone heals differently, and you need to listen to your body and consult with Dr. Davis before taking on more strenuous tasks.
A change may be noticeable right away, but this is far from being the final result. Significant swelling and bruising can last up to 6 weeks or more, and final results may not be clear for 6 to 12 months or more. It’s important to eat well and exercise to maintain the results of your mommy makeover surgery.
A good candidate for a Mommy Makeover is someone who is in good overall health, has completed their family or does not plan on becoming pregnant again in the near future, and is looking to address physical changes caused by pregnancy and breastfeeding. Ideal candidates are at or near their goal weight and have realistic expectations about the results of surgery. A consultation with a qualified surgeon can help determine if a Mommy Makeover is the right option for your goals.
Some reasons to consider a body lift include:
● Restore Your Pre-Pregnancy Figure
Pregnancy and childbirth can cause lasting changes to the body. A Mommy Makeover helps address these changes and restore your natural contours.● Tighten Abdominal Muscles and Remove Excess Skin
A tummy tuck can repair separated abdominal muscles and remove loose skin that may not improve with diet and exercise alone.● Enhance Breast Shape and Volume
Pregnancy and breastfeeding can affect breast size and firmness. A Mommy Makeover can include procedures to lift, reshape, or add volume to the breasts.● Address Multiple Concerns in One Treatment Plan
By combining procedures, a Mommy Makeover can improve several areas of the body at the same time, creating balanced, natural-looking results.● Boost Confidence and Self-Esteem
Feeling comfortable and confident in your appearance can have a positive impact on many aspects of your daily life.
Preparation for a mommy makeover varies between clients. Oftentimes, it will include things like getting blood work done, eliminating medications that promote bleeding and fasting before surgery. We will let you know the specifics well in advance and are happy to answer any questions you have.
